Interactive Case Review: Real-World Implant Dentistry Challenges and Solutions
October 16th
This interactive session will focus on real-world implant dentistry cases, presented by Dr. Ben Kellum and Dr. Bryan Kariya, as well as cases submitted by attending dentists. Together, we will review treatment plans, discuss clinical decision-making, and explore alternative solutions to complex scenarios. The session is designed to foster collaboration, peer learning, and practical problem-solving, helping participants strengthen their clinical approach and treatment communication skills.
Event Instructors
Dr. Bryan Kariya, DDS & Dr. Ben Kellum, DDS
Dr. Bryan Kariya grew up in Kaysville, Utah, and attended Brigham Young University for undergraduate studies, where he was a running back on the football team from 2008-2011. Following undergrad, he attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor in Dental Surgery. Upon graduation, Dr. Kariya worked in private practice where he found a love for dental surgery and digital dentistry.
Driven to provide more comprehensive treatment options for his patients, Dr. Kariya completed a one-year AEGD residency where he deepened his understanding of IV sedation, complex implant and restorative dentistry, and digital dental applications.
Dr. Ben Kellum grew up in Tupelo, Mississippi. After graduating from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee, he went on to get his Doctor in Dental Surgery from the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Kellum completed a 1 Year AEGD residency program in Pocatello, Idaho, focused on comprehensive implant planning and treatment. Dr. Kellum spent several years in private practice at a full arch denture and implant clinic and then transitioned full-time to Program Director of The Foundry Dental AEGD residency Program in Birmingham Alabama.
The Foundry Dental Clinic is a Christian-based community clinic, where Dr. Kellum was able to use his background in full-arch implant surgery and restoration to give those going through drug recovery access to more ideal treatment options.
